New section needed

[edit]

Can someone put in a section over the reception of the tv show ?

Is this show done?

[edit]

Reference #2 (from the Futon Critic) from the article says that there were 15 episodes in the last season, season #3.

But this reference says something else: "See Dad Run: Nick at Nite Sitcom Cancelled, No Season Four". TV Series Finale. March 17, 2014. Retrieved May 23, 2015. According to this one, there were only 13 episodes in season #3, which mean the series finished airing in 2014.

Can anyone resolve this question? Pinging @Geraldo Perez: as he might be able to help here... --IJBall (contribstalk) 18:57, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

TVSeriesFinale.com reference also says that an hour-long season finale was planned in addition to the 13 episode order for season 3. I don't see that in the listings so that looks to be something that has yet to air. Geraldo Perez (talk) 20:26, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Huh. "Planned" is not the same thing as "produced", though. This seems to be a quandary – it is highly unlikely that NICK wouldn't have already aired a one-hour series finale, if one had been filmed (note: I'm not saying it's "impossible", just very, very "unlikely"). I've got to think those last two episodes were ultimately never produced. But, without a source to back this up, it looks like we may be stuck, with this one perpetually "in limbo" rather than officially "ended". ----IJBall (contribstalk) 21:06, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, not perpetually in limbo. If the episode hasn't aired by December 4, 2015 (12 months after the last episode aired) |last_aired= can be changed from "present" to "December 4, 2014". --AussieLegend () 21:22, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @AussieLegend: that's good to know! I figured there was a "guideline" somewhere to some effect like this, I just hadn't seen it (or looked for it!) yet. ----IJBall (contribstalk) 21:34, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
